Full Day Classical Istanbul City Tour

The tour starts with the visit of one the most important Ottoman monuments, The Blue Mosque (17 cent A.D.), which is worldwide famous for its blue tiles and the 6 Minarettes.

Following you will visit the Byzantine monuments, such as: Hippodrome, once of the biggest Arenas of the ancient world, where Carriage-Races (Quadra-races) and big Gladiator-Fights were held.

Hagia Sophia (6.cent. A.D.), the crowning church of the Byzantine Emperors and the biggest church of the world until the Medieval times Your visit will continue with the Topkapi Palace, from where the Ottoman Empire was reigned for centuries. Lunch brake where you can taste the Turkish Kitchen (lunch is not included in the tour rate)

There you will visit, besides other pavilions, following sections: The Treasury (Exhibitions in the 3.courtyard= Enderun), Porcelain-Collection (Exhibition in the former Palace Kitchen) In the afternoon you will have plenty time to stroll over the ‘Grand Bazaar’ where you can find almost everything to buy

- Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesday.
